7 Bible Verses to Overcome Worry

Worry, shame, and doubt have no right to take up space in our minds! God has given us the power to OVERCOME through His Word. Often we do not choose our circumstances, but we do get to choose what we think about. Meditating on God’s Word allows His truth to renew our minds. In His loving embrace, fear and worry fade away. We find our confidence and our true identity in Him. When we choose to believe what He says about us—we get to walk in VICTORY!

“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” – 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV)

When fear or anxious thoughts try to flood your mind, speak God's truth to every lie. Scripture is filled with thousands of promises of God's love, protection, and strength! There is nothing that can separate us from our loving Heavenly Father.

If you need encouragement, here are some verses to remind you of God's promises—read them, write them on note cards and place them on your mirror, recite them, and memorize them. We must make God’s TRUTH the loudest "voice" in our lives!
